Entry Requirements for AET:

Whilst there are no formal entry requirements for the AET, the nature of both the theory and practical assessments which you need to achieve for the AET, are such that you will need written and spoken English, i.e. the ability to read and interpret written tasks. You must be aged 19 or over to enrol on this programme.

Academic Progression:

On successful completion of the programme candidates can progress onto:

• Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training- when teaching already in place
• Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training- when teaching already in place
• Level 3 Assessment and Quality Assurance (TAQA)
• Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)

How does the course work?

• Course materials such as Text book, Guidance note, memory stick, course folder & tutor details will be sent to you by Royal Mail special delivery system within 48hrs.
• You have 3 Months to complete the assignments if you are doing the Online / Distance Learning course. However If you finish earlier, you will be awarded early (You do not need to wait for up to 3 Months). You have flexibility to go through the  materials in your own time.
• You just need to go through the ‘Joining Instructions’ on the online portal – it would explain to you how to go through the course.
• If you have booked the classroom based course, we will send you the joining instructions.

Course Dates:

You can start the Online / Distance Learning course any day any time by booking your place and for classroom based course’s date; please check the dates on our website. If you are looking for more future dates, please don’t hasitate to contact us.

Group Booking:

• If you have 5 or more than 5 delegates, we can come to your place and deliver the class.

Course Assessment:

• Theory Assignment: We will assess your course work at the centre upon submission.
• Teaching Observation: To pass your Award in Education & Training assignments, you will need to deliver a 30 minutes presentation relating to your specialty subject or area of expertise. You need to call or email us to arrange a date for delivering your presentation (Micro Teach). You can choose a centre near to you for your Micro Teach from our wide range of training centre in the entire UK.
• Alternatively, you can record your presentation in the CD, DVD or Memory Stick and send to us by Royal mail recorded delivery or you can do so by Skype if you have a busy lifestyle. Our highly supportive and fully qualified teaching staff will guide you through the process; there are no examinations for AET course.
