Are You Still Chasing Certificates, Or Are You Ready to Chase Contracts?

If you are reading this, you probably know the reality: The big money in the security industry isn’t on the door; it’s in the classroom. But the path to becoming an instructor often feels like a maze. First, you need your teaching qualification. Then, Conflict Management. Then, Physical Intervention. Booking these separately is expensive, time-consuming, and frankly, a headache.

Why spend months piecing your career together when you can do it in one week?

If you are serious about moving from an hourly wage to a professional day rate, you need a streamlined solution.

The Level 3 SIA Trainer Full Package is a comprehensive “Train the Trainer” bundle that combines three mandatory Ofqual-regulated qualifications: the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), Level 3 Conflict Management, and Level 3 Physical Intervention. This combined course qualifies you to teach the complete SIA Door Supervisor and Security Guarding curriculum.

At National Training GB, we have designed this package to fast-track experienced operatives into qualified instructors, saving you up to 30% compared to booking courses individually.

What is the SIA Trainer Full Package?

The Level 3 SIA Trainer Full Package is a comprehensive training bundle designed for security professionals who wish to become licensed SIA instructors. It combines three Ofqual-regulated qualifications: Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), Level 3 Deliverers of Conflict Management, and Level 3 Deliverers of Physical Intervention. This package qualifies you to teach the full Door Supervisor and Security Guarding curriculum.

The “Holy Trinity” of Security Training

To be a hireable freelancer, you need to be a “One-Stop Shop.” Training providers don’t want to hire three different people to teach one course. They want YOU to teach it all.

Here is what you get in the bundle:

QualificationThe RoleWhy You Need It
1. Level 3 AETThe TeacherLegal requirement to teach any adult subject.
2. Level 3 Conflict ManagementThe De-escalatorRequired to teach Unit 3 (Conflict) of the SIA course.
3. Level 3 Physical InterventionThe ProtectorRequired to teach Unit 4 (Physical Skills). (Highest Value)

The Math: Buying these separately could cost you upwards of £1,000+. Booking the National Training GB full package significantly reduces that cost and aligns the training dates perfectly.

Core Curriculum: Zero to Hero

This is an intensive program. We don’t waste time.

Phase 1: The Foundation (AET)

We start with the basics of teaching.

  • Lesson planning and inclusive teaching.
  • Micro-teaching: You will deliver a short 15-minute lesson to build your confidence.
  • Outcome: You are now a qualified teacher.

Phase 2: The Specialist Skills (CM)

Now we apply teaching to security.

  • How to teach de-escalation models (LEAPS, Betari Box).
  • Designing realistic role-play scenarios that don’t get out of hand.
  • Outcome: You can now teach the theoretical side of the SIA badge.

Phase 3: The Elite Skills (PI)

The final piece of the puzzle.

  • Biomechanical Safety: Understanding how joints and muscles work during restraint.
  • Legal Frameworks: Teaching “Reasonable Force” and Human Rights.
  • Medical Safety: Preventing Positional Asphyxia and ABD.
  • Outcome: You are now a Physical Intervention Trainer—the most sought-after role in the industry.

Instructor’s Pro Insight:
“The beauty of the Full Package is consistency. You stay with the same tutor group for the whole journey. You build a network with other aspiring trainers. By the time you get to the Physical Intervention unit, you trust each other, which makes the physical practice much safer and more effective.”

Who is This Bundle For?

This IS for you if:

  • You are an “Old Guard”: You have 3+ years of frontline experience and want to monetize that knowledge.
  • You want maximum employability: You want to be able to say “Yes” to every job offer, whether it’s teaching theory or physical skills.
  • You value efficiency: You want to get qualified fast, without gaps between courses.

This is NOT for you if:

  • You lack experience: You strictly need a valid SIA license and relevant industry experience. You cannot teach what you haven’t done.
  • You have a bad back/knees: The Physical Intervention module is active. You must be physically capable of demonstrating the techniques.

The “Hidden” Obstacle: Prerequisites

We need to be honest. You cannot just buy this course; you have to qualify for it.
To attend the SIA Trainer Full Package, you must have:

  1. A Valid SIA License: (or expired within the last 3 years).
  2. Sector Competence: Usually 3 years of frontline experience.
  3. First Aid: A valid First Aid at Work certificate (or equivalent).
  4. No Criminal Record: Serious offenses may bar you from teaching.

Note: If you are missing the First Aid certificate, let us know. We can often add that to your bundle too.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the Full Package take?
Typically, the combined course runs over 5 to 7 days (depending on whether you do some AET theory online beforehand). It is an intensive week, but it gets it done.

How much can I earn as a fully qualified trainer?
With all three qualifications, your day rate increases significantly. While a basic theory trainer might earn £150/day, a Physical Intervention trainer can command £250 – £350 per day.

Do I need to renew these qualifications?
The AET is for life. However, the SIA mandates that Physical Intervention Trainers must attend an annual refresher to stay licensed. We offer these refreshers at National Training GB for our graduates.

Stop Guarding the Door. Open It.

You have two choices.

  1. Keep doing 12-hour shifts, freezing in the winter and sweating in the summer, for an hourly wage.
  2. Spend one week with National Training GB, get the “Full Package,” and start a career where you work indoors, command respect, and earn a professional day rate.

The industry needs leaders. It needs you.
Don’t piece your future together one course at a time. Get the full package and start earning sooner.
